Ya know, that comic was about as innocent as they come. It had cute art and it was funny and relateable and a lot of people liked it. But then you reblogged it with this nonsense. So instead of the artist being happy that their comic got popular and having a bit nicer day, you do this and make their day a little more crumby for not a lot of reason. And on top of that you have the nerve to send me this anonymous message.
You want to make this a thing? I can make this a thing if you like.
Masculine clothes are designed to be comfortable and functional while still being fashionable. Men can wear shorts and sneakers and hoodies and no one says a thing. But if someone like say, Ellen Page, tries to dress comfortably, the media tells her she is dressing like a “massive man.”
Feminine clothes are often designed to suit the male gaze. To suit what has been decided we find desirable. Little thought is put to function or comfort. Heels are huge. Pockets are tiny or missing. And if you try to deviate from that standard, the choices are usually frumpy, poorly made, and frowned upon.
I’m guessing that is why gender had to be brought up and why maybe you should try out a pair of women’s jeans before you prattle on about accurate comparisons.
